Sunshine Meat Market has proudly been serving our community of Miami Gardens since 1984. We are family-run and Hispanic-owned and have made it our brand’s mission to provide each of our clients with high-quality and fresh products that can be hand-picked when shopping in-store.
Beginning first as a line cook at a local diner, owner, Rafael, learned firsthand how using fresh products makes all the difference when preparing a meal. Since then, he’s used his experience to ensure Sunshine Meat Market is known for its quality and attention to freshness. When shopping in-store, you can see him joined by his two daughters, Vanessa and Karissa.
Sunshine Meat Market was designed with our clients in mind. Unlike larger grocery stores, our clients can hand-pick each of their meat items at our meat counter. Our team of butchers is on-hand to serve, cut and prepare each item to your exact liking, ensuring each order is personalized to your specific needs.
We provide an assortment of different cuts and styles of meat, like beef, pork, poultry and more. We also offer an array of fresh produce, seafood, groceries and specialty meats like lamb, goat and rabbit, among others. We are known mostly for specializing in carrying traditional Southern staples that cannot be found commonly in Miami. When shopping with us, you can find an assortment of smoked meats and other classics like collard, mustard and turnip greens, boiled peanuts, chitterlings and more.
